Turf replacement applications are closed and will reopen Mar. 1, 2026.

Rebates are available for up to 5,000 square feet.

• $2.50 for ColoradoScape and native grass
• $1.50 for low-water turf grass (Tahoma 31) and Dog Tuff™

Applications for turf replacement projects must be submitted before beginning work. Completed projects without prior approval by Highlands Ranch Water are not eligible for rebate. Rebates are not retroactive. Projects must be started and completed in same year. Projects must be completed by November 1. A final inspection of new landscape must be completed by a representative of Highlands Ranch Water to receive rebate.

Please note projects replacing high water use turf grass with expanses of unplanted rock or mulch, hardscape, and artificial turf do not qualify for rebate. Projects replacing unirrigated landscapes, existing garden beds, or existing hardscape do not qualify for rebate. Replacement area must contain at least 50% healthy, irrigated high water use turf grass. ColoradoScape projects must achieve 75% plant coverage at time of plant maturity (within 3-5 years).  Aesthetic elements such as boulders, dry riverbeds, and flagstone pathways may be included in 75% coverage requirement within reason.

Rebates are not guaranteed. Funding is limited to first-come, first-served.
