Elections and Voting

Highlands Ranch Water will hold its next director election on May 6, 2025. Two at-large seats will be up for election. Registered voters who live in or own property in the district boundary may vote in the election.

Where can you vote?

Eligible electors can vote in-person on May 6, 2025. 

Polling Place: 62 Plaza Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

Polling Place Hours: 7 am - 7 pm

Request an Absentee Ballot 

Registered voters who live in or own property in the Highlands Ranch Water service area can vote in Highlands Ranch Water director elections. You can request an absentee ballot for future elections by completing the Application for Absentee Ballot. If you would like to be on the permanent absentee voter list for Highlands Ranch Water elections, please check the appropriate box on the form.

Absentee Ballot request forms submitted previously under the district name Centennial Water and Sanitation District are still valid. If you checked to be on the permanent mail in ballot list, you do not need to submit the form again. To check your voter status, email info@hrwater.org before submitting the form.

To request an absentee ballot, please complete the form below, including property address and mail to address, and submit it to the General Manager at info@hrwater.org or you can drop it off at the district office building, 62 Plaza Drive.

Return Your Ballot

You may return your voted ballot by mail to the address printed on the return envelope (don't forget to include adequate postage), or you may hand deliver your ballot to one of these five locations:

Self-Nomination Process

Registered voters who would like to run for a seat on the Highlands Ranch Water board of directors must submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form beginning Jan. 1, 2025. The form must be submitted to the Designated Election Official and be received by 5 pm on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. 

The deadline to submit a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form has passed.
